Lexington Catholic will try to knock off #5 Covington Catholic on Thursday night, part of the Dan Tieman classic at Thomas Moore College. 7:30 PM tip-off. This could be a really good game or if Cov Cath gets going it could be a long night for the Knights. Covington Catholic edged out Lex Cath last season 54-53. Both teams are 1-0 with blowout wins to open the season. Who wins this game?

Both blew out bad teams, but LexCath played the better of the two teams blown out. That said, CovCath by double digits. It’s close to home, and the community will be fired up. Plus, the state is soon to find out about Disken & Green. CCH has too much, imo.

Someone said Green didn't start against Ludlow. The 3 Seniors started with Disken and another Junior.

 

It will be interesting to see if he starts tonight against a bigger lineup. Or maybe they are keeping him on the bench to backup Thelen and Fleek when they get gassed or in foul trouble.

 

Regardless, this should be a good game tonight.

So after looking into things, it looks like this is a triple header with Freshman at 4:30 and JV at 6.

Sorry, I think something was lost in translation. I know the game is played at TMC, my point was I wouldn't expect an electric atmosphere as Big Crazy alluded to. I have been to the last several games at TMC involving CovCath and their "environment" doesn't apparently travel from Park Hills for home games.
