Did he transfer again or is he still enrolled at Highlands and just off the team? I think this is really all people want to know.

Thanks for the review PP1! Dixie had 3 kids transfer to Lloyd. Assuming they are eligible, I would move Lloyd up a few spots. I also like St Henry ahead of Ryle. Ryle seems to have no one other than Rankin. Its Karim from Dixie and not Kim. Personally, I would put CCH's Fleek and Cooper's Houston ahead of Shumate. Looking forward to a couple more classic Cooper vs CCH games. They seem to have split the last couple of seasons.

This Scott County class of seniors have been talked about since the 8th grade. It should be a great year for them and I suspect they will be ranked in the top 3 of the state. Looking forward to seeing them play!

Congrats Cougars! And good luck next week ... It seems like the favorite won the rematch. They were the better team all season and their record speaks to it.

Will Trinity and Ballard be ranked in states top 5? I havent seen a pre season state ranking but I am assuming it includes these 2 along with Scott County and Cov Cath.

I am surprised we have not seen any Beechwood chatter but maybe they are still focused on the football thread. And what about Dixie? Region runner up last year and only lost one contributor to graduation.

CCH will not have any weaknesses. Davin, Disken, and Fleek will all be draining 3's. And Jackson off the bench is more than capable of handling the point and shooting the long ball. Don't forget, their JV teams have not lost a game in 2 years ... and they have been guarding the best in the state (in practice)!

You make no mention of Macke. I saw in Prep Hoops that he accepted an offer to play at WVU. But I have to be honest, even though the story suggested so, I dont recall him playing for Highlands. I thought he was pulled from Highlands to go to Holy Cross so maybe the story is wrong. Regardless, I dont recall hearing his name or seeing him play as a Junior so i was curious about the whole offer from Huggy. WVU is a big time program so one would expect to see a recruit's name mentioned ...

Great call out! Disken is probably the 3rd best true point behind Miller and Ohmer. He should be poised to have a breakout season. Wow, CCH is gonna be tough to beat once again!

What Mid Majors have offered Sivills? This should be a good season for the young man.

Prep Hoops ranks Fleek, Veith and McGuire higher than the coaches do. Regardless, these boys are all good players and we are looking forward to seeing them compete this year!

Looks like a nice small school tourney. I see Lloyd and South Oldham advancing to the finals with Lloyd winning it. However, I dont know anything about the Dearborn County school.

I agree with you on Houston - he should have a big year. I would actually have him and Fleek ahead of Walters. However, I would not say Spencer is a NKY Top 10 player but on my list he would round out the top 15.

The NKY coaches have Newport ahead of both NCC and Highlands.

Who will start for Cooper? Walter, Houston, Deere, Spencer, ???

Harding in gone. Miller is the go to guy. Other, than Miller who will start?

Congrats Colonels on a nice win. Seems to me like Ryle's troubles start at the coaching level. And how do we know we are in KY? - a 2 and 8 team is the playoffs!
