letabrotherspeak
Ryan Green led the way for the Dogs with 17. Foster chipped in 15. Schumate led Dixie with 21.
allsport71
Nice outing for Holmes tonight, hustle on both ends, need to clean up some turn overs. Shumate for Dixie has unlimited range, releases the ball as quick as anyone. Entertaining game and a nice Friday night crowd. Holmes got a nice spark of the bench tonight also as Tez Calloway came in and hit either three or four straight treys.

hogstooth
Coach Carr has those Bulldogs on the road to right! Through four games averaging 70 points a game and only giving up 58. Getting contributions off the bench, kids hustling, and five of the next 7 games at home. Still early, a hard district/region to win, but great to see them competitive again. Big Fundamental
Excellent early win for the Dogs. Dixie could have hands full with the Crusaders in that district.
nkufan23
Holmes has a nice mix of talent. They are fast and relentless on D. Really impressed with Green and Pouncy, both are poised and very good players. Is Green new to the team, I’ve never heard much about him and he has to be one of the best guards in the region. Calloway is a huge spark off the bench with unlimited range and crazy athleticism. I love seeing the bulldogs posing a threat to teams once again. Yes, Green is new to the Bulldog team, I believe he was at North College Hill last year. I know they have a new player from their, and I believe that's him. HSBballfan24
Holding my judgement on Holmes until after they play Newport. Their 3 wins are against teams with a combined record of 3-10. And I think they got off to similar starts the last two seasons too.

There is really no comparing this Bulldog team to the ones of the last few years. While the talent level still may be a little down Coach Carr does a fantastic job of playing to Holmes strengths. They are fast and athletic and the other teams will feel it this year.
