Nice thorough review! Interesting that you name CCH as the #1 team but have Beechwood beating them in Districts - not sure how that works. I would probably put the below players in front of half your honorable mentions as I would rather have these on my team than those listed: Greene, Thelen, and Fleek from CCH, Brannen from Beechwood, and the guard from NCC whose name escapes me. Thanks for all your efforts this season!

Great job by HHS shutting down Draud in the house that Draud built! It would be amazing to me that he took 24 shots but not too surprising with his bloodline. If he connects on 45%, Beechwood wins!

Get in line! CCH also wants the rematch with Highlands on a neutral court. But they first anticipate a rematch with Beechwood on a neutral court in the District Finals.

Not to discredit their 30-0 accomplishment, but ... does JH have any wins against Top 20 teams? Have they beaten any of the top teams from Lvill, Lex, or. Nky?

Then please tell us about OT and quit referencing the officials...

I would agree there is no clear favorite. The top 5 teams in the Region have all beaten each other. Here are their records against one another: Cooper 3-1 CCH - 2-2 Highlands 2-2 Newport 2-2 Beechwood 1-3 My prediction: a great tournament!

That is a tough call as it could easily be called every game. It really comes down to what the coach is saying and doing while out of the box. I have seen it 5 times this year and the coach desereved it each time.

Not a chance CCH will be favored to win state. First they have to get through their District and Region. Scott County will likely remain favored if they win their region. Other contenders will be UHA, John Hardin and whoever wins out of Lville (Trinity, Ballard, or Male)

The 9th Region tourney has potential to be a great one this year!

This was an interesting game with well balanced scoring from CCH. Fleek scored 7 of their first 9 in Q1 then they pulled him. Thelen kept them alive in Q2 with offensive rebounds and put backs. Greene heated up in half 2 scoring a quick 8, then they pulled him. Disken had some nice 10 foot jumpers off the dribble. Moser successfully finished Q2 with a bucket and Q3 with a big 3. Mayer picked up 4 fouls and couldnt get into a rythym. It was close at half time but the Colonels forced the Pioneers out of their zone in the second half and easily pulled away from them.
