Who was out for Paris? It's one of those games you question along with Nicholas County.

You don't see many OC changes this late in the season. I still don't think Paris gets by Raceland, though a stingey Rams defense isn't going to be an easy game to call as second game, but two weeks to prepare. I think Raceland could be a dark horse themselves, if they play the right game.

I like Garrard County in this one, a little more battle tested.

I think Bracken Co gets the 2nd ever playoff victory(current alignment) against a District 6 team. 28-14

3A and 2A will be exciting playoffs in my opinion. Would love to see a Belfry/ Boyle matchup. But I believe Belfry may have to go to Central correct? Another fun matchup

A good statement win for Paris

Whoa, a story of two halves...rough couple of weeks for the Eagles.

Paris last year got waxed by Holmes 47-19, Holmes lost to Mason County 35-34 last year. There is another level between High 1A and Low 1A. Bracken Co. had a nice record last year, but didn't beat anyone worth noting. Mason Co would of beat Bracken by 10+ last year and even more this year.

Last year's Paris' team is not on the same level as this year's team. Mason would destroy Bracken Co. and would of beat them last year too.

New Cath and Beechwood are basically either/or. Both could be in 1A or both could be in 2A. It's a good win or a good loss either way you look at it. 1A can't afford to drop any teams in their own rankings.

The human aspect... have you seen KY HS AP Polls, some are downright atrocious. Bowling Green had a bad loss to PRP, plus they'd have the weakest schedule of the Top 10.

What hurt Scott Co was the Lafayette game, to a computer it only see's the final score of 31-21. Lafayette has turned out to be a bad win for Scott Co, where as let's say Boyle Co.'s 3pt loss to Danville is better in the computers eyes in some cases then a win.

Maybe I've missed these athlete interviews before, but this is a great concept for this site! Well Done!

If Paris D stays at home, they'll beat Ludlow. I think Blackburn is best when he gets pressure and baits the Defense with the read. 35-30 Paris

I think the Top 5 looks good. 6,7,8,9 is basically interchangeable. Frankfort a solid 10.

Just picking up Berea is on the downfall?

The same reason Bracken does, builds morale. When you're building a program you've got to have some built in wins.

Blackburn is the best player Paris will have seen all year. If they can keep him at bay they'll win...but Beechwood is the only one to have done that.

I highly doubt it, two different levels of 1A Football. Bracken hasn't seen anyone with the physicalness of Paintsville. But Bracken and Fairview have to play first.
