  1. Too much Carson Williams for the Panthers in this one.
  2. Nice prediction. :thumb: I'm going with LC 62-49.
  3. Brett Ruckel is on his way up the officiating ranks. He just graduated from Lewis County (c/o 2014) but he is already calling middle school, freshmen, and I believe JV games as well. He finished as Lewis County's second all-time leading scorer at just over career 2,000 points. He is attending Shawnee State University and playing golf.
  4. Not sure where you've been the last 10 years or so... There have been many kids transfer to Raceland, Russell, and even Lewis County from the Greenup County district.
  5. In the 16th it's Fleming County (9-11) with Lewis County (8-11) and East Carter (9-10) being close behind.
  6. I'm a young buck but the 2011 Sweet 16 was the most exciting one I can remember.
  7. $1- Timmy Taylor $4- Jalen Perry $3- JaQualis Matlock $2- Dorian Henry $5- Ray Spalding
  8. They did not win district that year. Lewis County team led by Koty Riley and Terrence Smith knocked them out in district first round. They were 17-10 though.
  9. I was just mentioning coaches that won the district in their extremely short tenure and then were shown the boot.
  10. New year same story for Greenup County. Didn't a much younger Greenup Co. team just beat a much more experienced and senior-laden Lewis Co. team for the district last season? And now they have people calling for the coach's head. Same story with Fraley and Youngman. I know Youngman left on his own terms but there were still people in the Greenup community that were highly critical of him. You'll never build a good program without stability at the varsity head coaching position.
  11. Isn't there already a thread on this? Nasty dunk for sure.
  12. Interested to see how this will jumble up the next set of rankings that come out for the 16th.
  13. Final from Boyd County Middle School.
  14. But coming from Belfry, it wouldn't be as hard a transition as one might think, being that he blocks on 95% of the plays while on offense. Pass blocking would be his biggest obstacle.
  15. Congrats to the Cougars on the win. What round of the region all A was this?
  16. Off topic but didn't Micah Johnson play inside linebacker at UK? Did he play defensive line in high school?
  17. I agree with everything you said ATLCat. He has the size and quickness of a D1 offensive linemen.
  18. I'm not blaming Biggs a bit. But I do think this team has more talent than some are leading on.
  19. I also loved playing in this game. We got walloped but it was still a fun experience.
  20. For a team that has the preseason number one player in the region and with Villers averaging almost 20 per game there is enough talent on that roster to have won at least 2 games by now. I just don't think the talent fits Biggs's system.
  21. PG from Mason. I think Garrison is his last name?
