Final from Ashland. running clock early in the 3rd quarter; one of those games where everybody gets PT. Stats of the night: Dorian Henry with 27 points on 13-14 shooting. Royals with 35 baskets and 28 assists.

 

Much, much tougher test as Mason County returns to The Fieldhouse after several games on the road to face a tough Lexington Catholic squad.

Henry came into the game second in the state in FG percentage; probably didn't lose much ground tonight.

PS - LexCath at Mason County is tomorrow evening, 1/17.

Pretty much what I expected.. Ashland is a mess. After another likely loss to Ironton, I'm not sure how anyone could justify retaining the coach.

Buddy Biggs is a good guy and a friend. I hate to see him having to go through this.

 

Am curious if he will resurface here in Northern Kentucky next season?

If you think you could win with that bunch, go ahead and give it a try. If Ashland lays this blame on Coach Biggs, they have made a big mistake. Biggs is a very good Coach. Rupp could not win with that talent level.

jD. You have spent a lot of your post degrading Buddy Biggs. Do you even know him, have you ever met him. You say there are kids he has "run off".

When kids don't play because a coach is to tough it says a lot more about the kid than it does the coach.
