I agree here, Ryle is actually a pretty good team and at least will play NKY well. They scheduled tough again this year so hopefully that doesn’t mess with them mentally.

Jeremiah Lee is a very talented kid who just lacks a little bit of size. Size really isn’t much of an issue at the high school level but unfortunately colleges want bigger kids. I would love to see the kid grow a bit so we can see what he does on Saturdays in the future.

Ryle really couldn’t get any offense going. Their defense was on the field most of the game.

I am sure this list will be different next week. The first week always turns heads. Kids grow in stature, maturity and ability.

That Oldham County team also didn't lose much from last year's team and are very well coached. There is a new attitude at Ryle and the team looks more unified than the last couple years.

Oldham County is a very well coached team, they will be fine in 6A.

The game will be won at the line of scrimmage and it definitely won’t be a blowout.

I don't think this game is going to be what everyone so far has said it will be. Ryle will be much improved from last year. It will be a much closer game than you might think.

We will probably see a few more from NKY on this list by the end of the season.

I don't consider SK to be a state power house. They are 2nd tier at best.

Cooper unfortunately will have a tough time in that district which looks to be one of the toughest if not the toughest in the state.

Looks like a really tough schedule.

Any team can win on any given night, now I think Ryle sweeps the county, beats Dixie and maybe Campbell County and SK.

This schedule is a grueling one for sure but you are right, Ryle will be much better this year. I think with this schedule though, people will be surprised when they have a winning record.

Ryle certainly doesn’t stray from challenge. I do think they will be better than last season. But this schedule is really tough.

Coach Warner graduated in 1992. That does not make him in his late 40’s it makes him closer to mid 40’s.

I believe the STEAM/Tech school students will still have “home” based schools that they will contribute to athletics at if they want to.

The location and facilities make Scott a very attractive destination for a coach. The district isn’t as tough as 5A and 6A in NKY so winning should come quicker.

I think CCH or Highlands but a Trinity game wouldn’t fit the schedule for SK.

Sometimes, you just have to move on. His son is a senior, maybe he just wants the move.

I wouldn’t call it an upset, those were the best 2 teams in the state this year.

I don't think it is very likely but stranger things happen. I say CCH wins by a 10-14 point margin.

The main key to this game is discipline and CovCath is much better disciplined than Highlands.
