Covington Catholic is coming off of a special season that saw them rattle off 14 wins in a row without any real opposition before tasting defeat for the first time in the State Championship Game. Are the Colonels ready to make another run and revenge the loss that upset their perfect season? Or, is Ryle ready to extend Covington Catholic's losing streak to two?

Swami says:

If you are the person who wants to see an NFL player.

Make an appointment to see Mr. Mayer.

The Colonels feel slighted, they fell short of a goal.

Ryle will get outflanked, expects Catholic to roll.

CCH by 42. I don't expect much from Ryle again this year.

Is this going to be a thing... :lol2:

CovCath by as much as they want.

The Swami's time is precious, on his mountain he must be in deep thought.

We should all be thankful for the predictions he has brought.

Kicking off an exciting year, he felt was a good reason.

He'll be here through next week and maybe a cameo for the post-season.

I don't think this game is going to be what everyone so far has said it will be.

Ryle will be much improved from last year. It will be a much closer game than you might think.

Who do you see from Ryle being a standout players this year? I saw a couple games last year and didn't see many (if any) impact Juniors. Did some new people come in or really step up their game?

Covington Catholic wins, but Ryle will be better this season. I think Ryle is Top 15 worthy in 6A this season.

Ryle has looked much better thus far. B.Lyons looks like he could be a special player.

Cov Cath is an obvious favorite however I do not think this will be a blowout. Ryle has a few potent offensive weapons and an all around better team than last year.

The game will be won at the line of scrimmage and it definitely won’t be a blowout.

Outside of a few dropped balls on offense last night, and a long pass given up for a TD on a missed assignment, CCH looks like they are in for another run at state. I do think this will be much closer than the last few years though.

Calling for a high of 79°, low of 59° and 25% humidity on Friday. Ought to make for a great night of football.

Get there early if you want to have any chance at parking anywhere remotely close to the school property. Cov Cath is having an alumni-only preview of the new alumni center starting at 5:30pm, and St. Agnes is having their Homecoming parish festival starting at 6:00pm night, so the St. Agnes parking lots will be off limits and the lots across Dixie Highway in the office park are going to be pretty full with Homecoming parking.
