I have dilemma, do I see my Juggs and Pompillo's or go to UK and Joe Bologna's?

I do not know what their record will be this year, but I do know Coach Sturgeon and his staff will put in the time and will be prepared.

I would say UK#1 Fan would predict the Pioneers as his dark horse, but he has them as the overall favorite. SK all the way!

NCC's field position was due to the Lloyd kicker could not get it past the 50 yard line. I agree NCC trash talking got them the penalties. This has to be a record breaking year in penalties for the Breds. We can agree to disagree, even though I hate when people use that phrase. We were watching two different games. I was on the sidelines with 4 college coaches that night. These guys have forgot more football than you and I will ever know, all agreed that Lloyd was the better team. The Breds still got the victory, it is a moot point.

I am all with you on should, could've, would've. You can even sell me on NCC beating the Juggs by 2 td's if they would happen to meet next week. I have always said that NCC closes out game and Lloyd does not. NCC does not win that game by 2 td's that night. Lloyd wins by 2 td's with a kicker. NCC's average field position was on Lloyd's 45 yard line. The Juggs out played the Breds everywhere but the scoreboard. But, now we are getting back to should, could've, and would've.

Ok, I have a dilemma, do I go to Lexington Friday to see the Cats opener, or do I keep it real in E-town with the Juggernauts? Any thoughts?

On a side note, my daughter was a libero/ds in Volleyball which plays the back line. In middle school, it was a little tough to explain to her during Club tryouts, they would take girls based on potential height rather than current talent.

I'm an outsider who was not at the game Friday. I have not had a conversation with Jeff Markesberry since his Hanover days. There are a couple of things that are true. Markesberry showed compassion and respect against Boone County. Their coaches were dealing with some heavy off the field issues, SK could of named the score that night, Jeff pumped the brakes out of respect. The other truth is SK is now a relevant football school, borderline powerhouse. This is a first in my lifetime. This would be a non factor 25 years ago, but there weren't message boards to complain on either.

It was also known as the Steve Beagle bowl. Coach Hauck started a 25 year protest after Beagle picked up a fumble and ran it into the end zone to beat Boone. Coach Hauck said "I'm not going to get beat by my own players".

I was at the game tonight. NCC played hard, it has to be a single season record for personal fouls against the Breds. I never felt like Beechwood was ever in trouble tonight. Both teams need to cut down the turnovers going forward.

I hope Harrison's football team treats the Juggs better than what their baseball does to visitors. They say it is a real home advantage on their diamond.

I had a referee tell me that KHSAA says its about "participation" for the 6 classes. I'm with you on the 4 classes, you make an interesting point about a "super class". It is very diluted as its sits right now.
