Even if your WR's drop a number of passes, a QB's completion percentage should be much higher than 44%. The TD/INT ratio of 5/11 is not convincing either. I watched the video and almost every play, the QB locked on to one WR and didn't check down. The throwing motion caught my attention. With better mechanics, he may be able to hit WR's in stride a little better. Best wishes to Mr. Turner, a lot of improvements can be made from one year to the next.

I agree with you FF74 but I just don't see him accomplishing that against Trinity's front 7. Not a knock on Shearer but more of an endorsement of how nasty Trinity's run defense is.

The Camels didn't have a KO return TD. One score was against Trinity's starting defense and the other was against their #2's.

This. If Shearer is on target, SK can pass on Trinity, which may yield a few points for the Neers. Can SK's defense stop Trinity? That's very unlikely. If the Neers are to pull off an upset, they'll have to outshoot them.

Harrod is a fine football player. He was the rock for CC’s pass defense all year.

Trinity’s run defense is legit. Dowds got 2 or 3 runs of 5-6 yards but that was about it. Their D Line creates instant pressure. For SK to beat them, they’re going to have to go to the air and be decisive. You can’t hesitate against this defense; if you see an opportunity, you need to instantly commit.

Sounds like it just got away from them. Good season, Bears!

Tough loss for the Polar Bears. Didn’t see that margin of victory coming.

A few observations from a Camel fan: 1. Trinity’s complex is first class. You have a setup that many D3 colleges would envy. 2. Rondale Moore is a speed freak and has to be the best offensive weapon in KY. 3. Trinity’s D Line and LBs are impressive and disciplined. 4. Trinity’s weakness on defense appears to be their secondary. 5. Trinity’s excessive amount of penalties was a head scratcher but were justifiably called. 6. Trinity RB Gereimah Smith is one speedy/shifty runner. 7. CC WR Reid Jolly posed a big problem for Trinity DBs and had a big night. 8. CC QB Austin Hoeh threw the best deep balls of the season last night. 9. The announcer was classy and did show respect to the Camels a number of times but it did sound a bit strange when he announced when the running clock started. I’ve never heard that announced before at a game. When he announced that “it looks like Trinity will host SK next week” as the 3rd quarter ended, I don’t think it was intentional disrespect to the Camels but I can see how some people took it the wrong way. 10. I thought it was a little tacky that Beatty put his defensive starters back in during a running clock when the Camels drove down to the Trinity 10 yard line against the #2’s in order to prevent a meaningless score. 11. After playing both Cov Cath and Trinity head-to-head, I think Trinity is the better overall team and would beat the Colonels by 2-3 scores. Congrats to the Rocks. It was neat to finally see your team in person and experience your Friday night environment.

Quick math shows Beechwood has 79 Regular Season wins and 109 Total Wins with 2 state titles. This includes the 2017 season.

The only question I'll pose is this: Why create a poll on this to begin with? I agree with @oldgrappler 100%. What am I supposed to tell my son before he gets on the bus for Louisville? He knows the odds. To tell me that I lose credibility on BGP for voting for the Camels doesn't bother me. But I won't lose credibility with my son for telling him he's wasting his time by putting on his uniform.

Let's assume that Trinity and SK advance on Friday. Trinity is in District 4 and SK is in District 6. Both are even # districts playing in an odd # year. Who hosts?
