That’s a shame because the runner wasn’t going anywhere and there was a safer way to take him down. I’m not judging him as a player but the play itself was worthy of a 15 yarder.

CC gave up 3-4 big plays and it seemed that was all Cooper needed. If QB Lee and WR Armour stay in the game, the Jags would’ve cruised. This one surprised me for sure. Cooper’s O Line and D Line gave the Camels fits. I sure hope Lee can heal quickly. He was in a sling. What was Armour’s injury? He was down for a while. Good wishes to both of them. The Jags outplayed the Camels and deserved to win this game.

I think the Rebels will run the ball at will in this one. Boone County wins this one going away. Dare I say it's a running clock? Rebels 42 Bulldogs 6.

I agree with the previous comments on who needs this win more? A loss for either team really puts a damper on expectations for the rest of the year. I say Highlands stands the most to lose and therefore, they'll show up ready to go. Birds 35 Ryle 24.

I said it before, I think the Camels defense will be the best in NKY 6A. They’re tough to run on and they pressure the QB. New Cath hasn’t faced this kind of defense this year and I thought they’d give New Cath issues. It looks like a big key to New Cath’s success will be remaining healthy. Why don’t we judge the first year of the Lickert regime after district play?
