I thinks it's great that he will for sure he playing D1 basketball. I still maintain that Miami of Ohio, or a school of that level is where he'll have the most impact. It really comes down to what Braxton feels is best for him. He can go to a high major and have a nice role for 4 years. Or go to a mid major and start for 3-4 years. Either way, it will work out for him.

Looking at their schedule, they'll be tested early with South Oldham and then Bullitt East. That should give everyone an idea of where they're at. If the youth movement is as strong as you say, it's probably going to be a couple more years of under .500.

Who does he play AAU for? I've never heard of him.

UPike is a pretty big time program. Congrats to the young man. I've never seen him play. Is he a PG? Or a 2 at the next level.

If you want to see Lovan after day 1, you'll need to go to the auxiliary gym.

I don't think this makes much sense. Or makes things much better for him. It's not like UK is suddenly going pounce. Mid major seems like a great level for this kid.

Collins will be a factor by the end of the season. North Oldham has had a pretty good June, and returns some good talent.

Completely agree with the post above. Not enough shots to go around for those kids. I don't think he helps them.

We definitely won't have the talent that we've been lucky enough to have the last few years. But these boys have learned how to win and work. We'll see in the fall.

I only saw him play 2-3 times the last couple of years, but I can't believe the smaller division 1 schools, or even Bellarmine didn't jump all over him.

I've said it over and over again. Collins didn't have as much talent as we're used to this year. And didn't have a great regular season. But coach Gaither always has them playing their best at the end of the season.

That is a program that has steadily declined over the last few years. I used to go to their games pretty regularly.
