Most high school teams have these issues. They tend to rear their head a little more when you've been dominated start to finish in a game like this. Trinity played their last 5 players against Doss' starting 5 at one point in this game.

Trinity dominated every aspect of this game. They also got Theineman back. He'd been out with an injury. I still believe they're the team to beat in state.

When I've seen them, they've used a different point guard a lot. That kid didn't play much last night for some reason. They had Sharpe running the point, and all that does is nullify him as a shooter. It's a lot harder to pull up off the dribble than to catch and shoot.

I'm a Collins homer, but also a Bullitt East defender on this board. There's no defending this one. With the talent level of these two teams, this one shouldn't have been close. Great win for the Titans. But honestly, this shouldn't have been a close game.

Not sure I understand "narrowing" the list to 12. It's not so narrow. And there's a pretty big variety of schools on here. I'd say he has no idea where he's going, regardless of what that interview claims. I saw him at the King of the Bluegrass. I was really impressed by his physical prowess, but this kid is not a point guard. He doesn't handle the ball very well.

I agree. I wasn't there but I saw Wayne at KOB. They play 5 out on offense. More contact fouls get called on the perimeter than in the paint. Maybe that's the difference in the free throws taken.

Bullitt East looked really tough tonight. Manual has been known for their press this year. The Bullitt East guards did a great job of breaking it over and over.

For Collins to finish strong, it's definitely going to depend on match ups. Guard play is as good as it gets, but the lack of size really hurts. They do seem to be peeking at the right time.
