Several Schools list the King of the Bluegrass Showcase on their KHSAA schedules for Jan 31, but no opponents.

Does anyone have the schedule for this event?

I was wondering about this myself. Hopefully someone can give us some insight as to dates times and opponents.

Match ups should be announced in the next two days.

My guess is that for best match-ups it made sense to postpone putting the schedule out to early to allow teams to play out a bit. I am guessing the 4 6th region teams and Manual will not play each other, but are informally seeded for quality match-ups. Bullitt East and Fern Creek play tomorrow night which allows a head to head comparison. With all the Holiday events many teams attended, they probably want to avoid any repeat match ups as well.

I'd personally like to see Covcath v Taylor Co...CVH v Goodin.

Good guess Walter but the decision wasn't made until this morning. I don't know who told you but it was a good guess. Some teams are comitted to Friday…others Saturday.

I was told by a coach back in the fall that when they committed to playing in this they were told they'd be playing Fairdale.

You might be right but still would like to see how CVH stacks up against an elite guard like QG.

 

We will see CVH against Broughton next year at the Legacy Nissan Classic from what I've heard.

Covington Catholic could not play on Saturday. The match-ups were made on the ONLY day those teams could play. Saturday teams had games on Friday.
