I agree. Bullitt East has really shown up at the KOB this week. They beat a really tough prep school from Brooklyn last night. I think they can actually make a strong case for #2 in the region. They have one bad loss, where they may have overlooked Butler. When you've been as dominate as they've been for so long, that can happen. I don't really understand why you're so high on Fern Creek. Their best game was a loss to Hopkinsville, which hasn't been as dominate as they usually are and very well may have overlooked Fern Creek. The only other good team they've played is Male, and Male basically controlled that entire game. Fern Creek will be fine in a year or 2. They're learning and they have a lot of talent. But they can't continually get a pass based on their youth.

I really thought Holmes had this one wrapped up. Probably shouldn't have left at the end of the 3rd. Lol! Bullitt East just doesn't play like they used to. Looked flat and uninspired for 3 quarters. Apparently they found some magic in the 4th. I won't leave early tonight.

Fern Creek has shown flashes this year. But that loss to Seneca and then to Male shows that they're probably still a year away. Really fun to watch though. Should be an exciting game against a PRP team that's down a little. Down for PRP is still a pretty high level for a lot of teams.

I wouldn't go that far, but there have been a couple of head scratchers. The 5 second call and the foul on 3 were awful. NCC getting every call in the lane now.

Calm down. I didn't say anything bad about the kid. I saw him at Rupp and I was really impressed with how well he played in such a pressure packed atmosphere. I'm just pointing out that there's a lot of time still. A lot of players will come and go between now and then. There are several good 2017 kids in the state that this same argument could be made for.

Agree. A lot of time between now and his senior year. Hopefully he can continue to develop. But how many kids do we hear about on here as 8th, 9th, and 10th graders only for them to have a dramatic fall off later. It's also a little reckless to predict Mr Basketball for 2017 this early. I'm sure there are some sophomores you haven't heard of yet that aren't getting playing time or publicity for various reasons. Schools in the 6th and 7th region can generally afford the luxury of having a kid sit and learn.

Dunbar must not play any defense at all. St X rarely scores 55 points. Doesn't Dunbar have their missing guys back? Or at least most of them? I'm afraid they're just plain bad at this point.

Are you sure they'll all be back? I'd heard 2 regular players were missing their last game with concussions. Is that actually true? Will they be back? Haven't seen B East yet this year but they're generally fun to watch. Looking forward to King of the Bluegrass.
