Fern Creek vs PRP Wes Unseld Invitational Match-Up 12/21/14

Today at 3 PM there is a 6th region match-up in the Wes Unseld Invitational which has the young Fern Creek team playing regional favorite PRP. Fern Creek has started three freshmen at times and 6 of their top 8 are either freshmen or sophomores. PRP has the super talented Richard Gaines and other senior contributors leading their team. Fern Creek has struggled at times, but then has looked very good as well such as taking Hopkinsville down to the wire in their own gym last weekend. Today's game will provide some insight if this season is an opportunity for Fern Creek to make a run sooner than expected.

Fern Creek has shown flashes this year. But that loss to Seneca and then to Male shows that they're probably still a year away. Really fun to watch though. Should be an exciting game against a PRP team that's down a little. Down for PRP is still a pretty high level for a lot of teams.
