nice win for the Camels.It was a great freshmen game. Penalties killed HHS all game long.Congratulations to Trent Johnson of HHS for scoring his 1st TD on a tipped ball that he returned into the end zone.

Rematch this Thurs. in FT Thomas. Birds won the ist game 22-6. Who wins the rematch?

I believe that Brycen caught 3 TD passes. Ryle did not score until there were just 5 mins. to go to avoid the shutout. Nice game for the birds.

Highlands scored on the first play from scrimmage, a 80 yd run. At the end of the first qtr. the score was 21-0. At halftime it was 28-0. no scoring from either team in the 2nd half.A lot of boys saw playing time for the baby birds.

Highlands scored on a 99 yd pass and run with 1 :59 to play to pull out the victory.

HHS at Conner 6pm today

HHS scored the ist 2 tds and led 14-0 at the end of the 1st otr. they missed a chance to go up 21-0 when they failed to score on 4 running plays inside the5.Cov .Cath pretty much dominated from that point on and trailed only by 1 14-13 at the half.CCH took the lead with 4 mins left in the 3rd qtr 21-14.the 2 pt conv was good.HHS tied it at 21 on a 40 yd pass and run on 2nd and 21. CCH came right and went ahead 27- 21.End of the 3rd qtr.With 9 mins left CCH scored again on a play where it looked like the Whistle should have been blown, THe CCH player came out of the pile with the ball and ran down the field to score.The HHS player was clearly stopped.CCH scored again with 3 mins to go to make the final CCH 39 HHs 21. McGinnis played a great game. For HHS Cooper Schwalbach was outstanding on both sides of the ball.

Highlands improved to 4-1 last night with a 30-14 win at Simon Kenton

Nice win on the road for the baby birds. At one point they trailed 14-7,then scored the next 16 to win going away.

Highlands has 37 players on their roster. Not all of these boys played in the FTJFL.Not all of the boys attended Highlands Middle school.

Good all around game from the birds. A lot of passing yards.Kicking game is a real weapon.Most kicks were into the end zone by #15 .

HHS listed 37 on their roster sheet. Do not know the # for Lex. Cath. but was probably 8-10 less than the birds.

Where is he from?

The size of some of the Rocks players was a problem. Some varsity teams do not have players the size of these frosh.Highlands inability to complete passes was due to the rush of the D of Trinity. There was some good play from the young Birds. This may be the best team they face all season.

What time did this game end ? The local rag ( Enquirer) did not have a report om on this game.

Red Devils Seniors bounced the South Kenton team today 36-6.

I have heard that not all the boys in the FTJFL are in the FT.Thomas schools. Some are from ST.Cath. St.JOe. St,therse and others. IS this true?
