On paper I say Elder will win but I can't count the Birds out. In 2009 I thought Highlands would be destroyed by Cincy X. & Highlands put X away. So I can't count The birds out in this one.

Trinity frosh gave up 3 pass Td's that covered over 60 yards & a stort TD on a 4th & 12 at the 12yardline right before half. Male had recievers running open all night. Trinity's O move the ball but stalled way to many times. Hat's off to the Bulldogs, the futher looks Bright.

6a as a whole ,needs to establish better play. 6a teams need to put away teams in the lower classes more often. Right now that's not the case. Their is no excuse for 6a teams to be bad as they are now, especially manual & male. Hell, if Central were in 6a they probally would be the 3 best team in 6a. way to go Central!!! The 3a Jackets have certainly raised their level of play.

Considering how inconsistant ballard's play has been, I'm very surprised to see them defeat eastern in such a manner.

LOL are you kidding me? With all due respect the teams Ryan Timmons has faced are horrible just flat out bad football teams. Quick has faced the highest level of competition. A lot of people here in Ky don't realize just how bad Ky football is. If Quick, Dawkins, Wright, White & Hatcher faced the teams Ryan Timmons has faced they all would rewrite the record books. Now I have seen Ryan Timmons play & he's certainly a baller but until he plays better competition nobody will know what level of player he is.

avid Tiger I wasn't going to bring this up, since i know u r already eating crow at the moment. in an earlier post you said it was all about match up & rankings meant nothing in regards to the rankings I posted. Well it looks like the ranking are right on the money. No disrepect to X but it is clear that they would struggle against any of the teams T's has faced. X would be lucky to come away with 1 win vs any of those teams. Inpite of what you may think about Elder's ranking they more than proved to be worthy of their 149 ranking as they went toe to toe with Cincy X in friday nights game. ELder went for 2 late in the 4th with about a min left, while trailing 28-26. BTW-Dawkins rushed for 128 yards on 20 carries with 2 td's. Remember you insisted that Dawkins only had suscess in 2011 because of A great oline. T's 2012 oline this year is not so great, very average at best & Dawkins has still managed to put up the same stats as he had at this point last year. Doing it all while fighting threw a high ankle sprain. 2011 stats at this point last year 6 games 678 yards 12 tds 2012 stats 6 games 651 yards 11 tds Again not a knock on Walker But Dawkins was Clearly the best RB in friday night's game. I do realize Walker got banged up abit but it wasn't like he was ripping off big runs before he got hurt. Walker had some suscess against T's D but it was minimal. So it is safe to say Walker isn't quite on Dawkins Level. I wish Walker a speedy recovery & wish him the best of luck the rest of the season.

Glad to see BG play these type of teams. BG has shown they should be ready to play teams like BA on the varsity. I would like to see them play ST X., Highlands,& Trinity on a yearly basis . Being so close to Tennesse BG should also play BA or MBA ever year If The Best teams in Ky would all agree to play yearly then this would be a great boost for KY football.

sounds like another conveniant excuse to me. Yes Trinity gets the ball to its two main players(a Big play WR & a Big play RB). Now X's offense is totally defferent they Have always been run heavy. So they Have two Big play RB's that they get the ball to they also have a 3rd big RB that also get the ball to. That has always been X's M.O.

Walker has always had a good Oline & He didn't do what Dawkins did his sophomore year.Dawk rushed 904 yards 15 td's & wasn't primary ball carrier Walker was the primary ball carrier last year he rushed for 600 yards 9 td's listen the great oline thing you are trying hold over Dawkins head doesn't Fly. you see while T's oline last was a very good line it did not define Dawkins susscess. Breaking numerous tackles,Blowing thru the holes & Shaking defender out of their cleats, & out running defenders that's all Dawkins also Dawkins has an average oline this year & his stats are where they were last year at this time so whats your excuse with that. Just simply give when it's due

I left moeller out in this post because I have all ready stated in an early post that moeller was the best team lou st x has faced. I think if were to like at some of my posts you'll find that i always give credit when it's Due. I think X is much improved from last year. I even think that X has a better Oline than Trinity. I also think X has better LBs then Trinity this year. I think X's db's are slightly better than Trinity's as a whole. That beings saying T's big advantage comes at the Skills position & Dline. this years X vs T game is probably going to be a close one, if X can limited T's big plays, if not ,it will be a 3 touchdown game or better. But I certainly can tell X has improved & Quite franklin I'm still shock X didn't put BG away.

Btw BA is 5-1 MBa is 4-2 with big wins over Baylor & Battle ground Elder is 3-2 big win this week against indy bishop Charard 4-1 & they also beat indy IC Dutch fork is 2-3 BG 5-0 solid but haven't faced any top teams Central 5-1 great 3a team & they beat some 6a teams in ky but ky 6a is very weak

I bottomline here is you Like Walker & you are trying to put him on the same as Dawkins & their game Film Don't support what you say & as of matter fact you are the same guy Who once said that X had 3 or 4 backs better than Dawkins. I also might add that Dawkins has a new & very average oline this & he has the same stats he had at this point last years Dawkins is 4* player on Scout & 3* rivals & will prove be to be an outstanting D1 RB Last year Dawkins vs X last time they played 24 carries 237yards & Quick 4 reception 27 yards Dawkins right now has rushed more than 500 yards & 6 Td's vs X in the four times the faced since his 10th grade year.

BTW Dawkins is on the same level as Quick, Trinity choses to go thru quick in most clutch situtions. If trinity chose to go thru Dawkins the same way in others words run the ball on back to back plays(like they did vs Cincy X) & also as use in the screen game more. Then Dawkins would be viewed to more people in the same Light of Quick. Now I'm not saying that Dawkins is better than Quick but making the point that when he has been given the oppotunity is on the same level as Quick. Now as far as Dawkins & Walker. There no comparison. Whoa, Whoa, now u r getting ahead of yourself. While i certainly think Charles Walker is an outstanding RB but he is not on the same level as Quick or Dawkins. Also, you X guys are mistaken if you think that X has played similiar competition as T. Yeah I'll give you Moeller but No other team that X faced, they couldn't beat any of the teams Trinity has faced.

everyone can say what they may about Travis Wright but the kid his flat gotten the job done against Top Level competition. I haven't looked at his exact #'s but I do know that he has passed for over 600 yards & 6 TD passes in two games with no INTS BTW- he has a new O-line

I was at the game & I must say what a barn burner. X seem to be in control for most of the game. DF wouldn't go away, just managing to keep the game in reach. DF finally broke off 75 yard run with about 1 min left in the game to tie it at 28. At that point i surely thought X was done heading into OT But hats off to X for hanging in there to get the win in OT.
