Let me say this. It's not a matter of Run or Pass. They could just run the ball with Dawkins as he only Had 3touches for the game with 3 TDs. He probally would have scored on every run play or they could even run jets sweeps with Quick on scored on every play. In fact passing the ball to less explosive player slow down the scoring. Trinity showed alot of class by minumizing Dawkins(2 carries 1 catch)& Quick(3 catches). The bottom line here is this game was a HUGE miss match.

I seen Bowling Green play X this year and came away very impressed with their team. Scooter Hollis made big plays in cruch time against X. Though I haven't seen John Hardin play BG is a Strong Favorite. Congrats. to the Purples on the season they are having thus far. I would have loved to see The Purples vs The Birds this year.

You are in serious denial. It's called giving credit when it's due. You should try it sometimes it won't make you a rock fan. Just ask yourself if Trinity did beat those Teams would you then say those teams are having a down year. If the answer is yes, you are in total denial along with so many others that have done this with teams they've played thus far. Just try an be bigger than that.

WRONG! not this year my friend Trinity would beat any those teams from any of those states. Their offense is the best of all the top ten teams. They can pass and run at will. they also run a College style offense. Also they Have Quick,Dawkins and Wright. just do some research and you will see that no other Top ten team has a Trio with numbers like them. they also have a top ten Defense. BTW the way I've watched all the top Teams and Alabama and Cali doesn't have a team on Trinitys Level. I'm from Florida and St Thomas wouldn't beat them this year or next. The top 2 Teams Right Now are Trinityand Gaffnee Sc, because they have simuliar Teams and yes they'd beat Bosco. Cause all though their defense is good as any their offense would prevent them from beating Trinity or Gaffnee. I simply gave credit when is Due and normally you are correct about the teams from those States but not this year.

Make no mistake Elder has played one of the toughest schedules in the nation. The Birds must bring their "A " game to win. I'm going with the Birds on this one because they have a strong passing game and a fast defense. If Elder can pound the ball with the A.J. Burdine kid they can win this game. Believe me they are a good football team. By now Elder should have realized they don't have the team speed they've had in previous years and play to their strenghts which is their size advanage. having said that Don't buy into that talk that Ohio Football down this year. there are some Ohio guys who tried to use this as an excuse to discount the wins Ky teams get on Ohio teams. If the Birds can win this will be a very big win for them.

Manual does have good overall speed for a Ky team but Trinity the has the blazing speed Quick & Dawkins which will get it done in any state.

I've seen Manual & Trinity play. No disrespect to Manual but Trinity is on a whole another with their team speed. Which is why the are currently ranked #2 in the Nation. This team has the SPEED THAT KILLS!

While I totally agree with you on Quick & Hatcher but people seem to under estimated RB Dalyn Dawkins & DB Ryan White they are the same caliber player. Dawkins has break away speed,incredible balance,shifty quick, vision,tough as nails and What's most impressive he can run in between the tackles better than any high school RB that I've seen in quite some time. BTW the Kid is 170LBs WOW! Ryan White plays like Eric Berry of the KC Chiefs need I say more.

Come on your are getting way off base. Did i need to say that they were last years state champs. I'm from Florida but now live in Louisville. I'm not a Highlands fan but I do root for them when they play out of state. I have alot of repect for them because they always believe they can win and they are well coached no matter how much talent they have. When they beat Cincy St X they reached national power status. I though there was no way they had a chance but they won. I simply give credit when it's due reguardless of the state a teams comes from. I'll be the first to tell you I love my home State Florida where there is some serious football along super speed. Having said that I still make sure when looking at other states football the i'm not bais in fact the state of ohio has had the toughest teams from top to bottom in the past 4 years.
