Sadieville High School in Scott County was built circa 1920. The first ball team played in 1922. The gym (and school) is still standing but just barely.

Old slow pitch days

Scott County’s Ukari Figgs and Camille Cooper won a state title and both played at Purdue. Ukari’s Purdue team won the national title and her WNBA team won the National Championship. Ukari is the best player I’ve seen in 8th region girls basketball.

I’m 32nd district but never understood why when we go to the 30th we have to drive through Franklin (Franklin County, Frankfort, Western Hills and Frankfort Christian) to get there. Always puzzled me
