Grant has really stepped up their game in the last 9 games or so.....

Tried to watch some of it online. It looked like Downton didn't play much if any of the entire 4th. Hope he isn't injured.

Second time Beechwood played Grant Co this season.  Grant was better this time around but still over matched.  Beechwood, coming off an emotional win vs Highlands about 15 hours earlier, was a little hung over and visibly fatigued in this one.  Downton busted his nose twice and left the game for extended periods Both times to stop the bleeding.  Tigers were tired on defense and Grant chipped away, taking a 1 pt lead late, before Beechwood closed it out by 9, 70-61.

Grant Co coming off a tough win also.

I have trouble seeing a game the night before as being a reasonable factor in this one, especially since the other team (Grant) also played a tough game the night before, in a 7-point victory over Newport.  

Not saying that the players weren't "tired", but it shouldn't have favored either squad.  Fatigue is an issue for some teams that still have played just 4 or 5 games - but both Grant and Beechwood have played 17 games.    Both should be in mid-season form, as far as stamina / endurance goes.
