That's generally how it works. Not too many coaches look great without very good players to make them look that way.
Name a successful coach that didn't have much talent.
Southwestern ( I know they just lost to PC but I still think they are better. Gover's not going to shoot like that usually and PC isn't going to go 42-48 from the line)
Pualski Co.
E. Jessamine Maybe the number 2 team but I'll give PC the slight edge.
The next four are basically interchangeable, just depends on who's hot and the matchups between teams
Wayne
W. Jessamine
Lincoln
McCreary
These three are also pretty close to each other
Danville
Somerset
Garrard
Marlow, he had been playing well at the time.
SW had cut the lead to 13 when he got the first
one but pc would go back up by 20 then SW made
Another run late. I think an ejection is two games.
They got beat by an average of probably 25 points in every district game they played last year. Who have they added to make them improved enough to be the favorite this quickly?
I say at best they challenge Monticello for third spot.
Southwestern was scheduled to play at 7 something. But now at the same time the football team will be playing in the playoffs. I assumed that is why the changes wer made so now SW fans don't have to pick. Very good move on the part of the basketball people if you ask me
Also don't see Wayne being that high. They lost four starters off a team that seemed reluctant to even play their sixth man and the starter they return is a solid role player but will need a lot of help to replace what they lost
Who does west Jess have coming back that puts them that high. Looking at last years roster they lost 8 seniors including at least their top two scorers from a team that was just 11-18
He is very likely to pass the pace of Coleman but the amazing thing is that he scored 1,919 points in his senior year alone. Coleman only had 2344 points going into his senior year which Hatton could have in 60 more games at 22.4 per game to catch Coleman's pace. Then he just has to average 46.8 for 41 games in his senior year like Coleman did.
