48th could also be fixed by moving Somerset to 48th, Lincoln then moves to 47th leaving Garrard, Boyle, Danville and KSD as a 4 team Dist and no one changes regions. Also just 2 teams have to move. If Clinton or Russell is moved from 16th then a team from 15th has to move as well as a team from the five team 14th Dist.

If Lincoln is part of the 4 team race and they just beat Wayne by 2 at home doesn't that indicate that Wayne is also in the race.

I'm surprised the teacher wasn't going him/herself. As for the experience I notice more kids there not paying any attention to basketball but socializing on the concourse. Not sure what kind of special experience that is but apparently it's believed to be important by a lot of parents.

I still consider South Laurel and Laurel Co. as the same school. It's just the name changed. Pulaski Co went through the same situation when Southwestern was opened but didn't change the name of the exising school so when (if) they win another regional title it will count to Pulaski Co's total instead of whatever it would have been renamed too.

With it pretty much a lock that the two teams will meet for a third time in the district finals I don't think either coach feels that this is a must win. They both know the next meeting will be the one to put everything into to get a shot at a better regional draw.

My guess would be that they get all the moving up or down taken care of first and then they assign teams to districts starting in the west and moving east.

This is one I don't ever see an official call. Seems like when there is a loose ball it's anything goes and the refs are just looking for an opportunity to call jump ball.

Clinton TN isnt very close to Monticello. It's just NW of Knoxville but they come to Wayne Co. every year. I assume it some tie Wayne's coach has with someone there since he played at UT.

I hope not, give players,especially end of bench reserves who only get to play late in game a little more time to savor the experience. Game really gets over quick when the clock continues to run.

Isnt this just Burketts second year at Casey. I don't think they were expecting too much over there this year.
