You mean Madison Southern. They are 5A and they do have a good running back. But they want no part of Trinity. It would be ugly.

I meant Southern. I could not locate edit feature. If Trinity would pay a fair stipend, would the Indians be interested? I dislike 9 game schedules. I think the players would prefer a full slate.

If Highlands wants no part of Trinity in the regular season, why would Madison Southern?

The only Kentucky teams which will play Trinity, and that's only because they have to, are its district opponents -- St. Xavier, Manual and Male. Why on earth would you think Madison Southern would want to play Trinity?

Hahahaha! I was beginning to wonder what a Katherine pay day was and how much she would pay me.

 

Trinity's open dates are Sept. 20 and Oct. 25.

 

Sept. 20 Louisville area schedule: St. X at Moeller, Central at Western, Ballard at Manual, John Hardin (featuring a top-10 recruit) at PRP. Those are just some of the games that weekend.

 

Oct. 25 Louisville area schedule: Male at Manual, Fern Creek at Eastern, Seneca at Butler -- just to name a few, again.

 

I doubt the Courier-Journal would even staff a Trinity-Madison Southern game, with no disrespect intended to MS, because of all the other games they would most likely staff on those weekends.

The biggest issue I see playing Trinity, especially late in the year, is injury. T can drop 4 - 5 players and not miss a beat. Anybody else, their season is OVER.

You know, my alma mater has had a history of biting off more than they can chew in regard to scheduling. We kind of have a we'll play anyone mentality, which I love. I wouldn't mind seeing a CovCath-Trinity match up in the future. Unfortunately, this doesn't help T this season.

I would venture a guess that Trinity's best shot would be trying to find an out-of-state team that needs a game and try to go from there.

 

If I'm a parent at a small school, I have a problem with my kid playing a game in which there's a serious chance of being injured by an opponent that overmatches them just so the school can get a big payday. That's just me. I'm not saying that Trinity necessarily overmatches just any team to that extent, but if I'm a parent and the writing is on the wall like that and our team's administration is motivated to take the game entirely for the payday, I'm probably not going to be a happy camper.

First, 1 great RB does not make a team.

 

Trinity would be better oh playing 9 games than risk injury or pay MS to play a 10th game.

 

The RB has signed with Michigan. Please explain what additional exposure does for him now.. Looks to me like he is fully exposed.
