Anyone know about any of the out-of-state teams?

Clay County and Clinton are both from Tennessee, not far from Monticello. Neither are real good but they are competitive and bring good crowds. I would guess the other two out-of-state schools will be better.

I drive by the school a lot. Is the gym as nice as the outside looks?

Very nice. Plenty of seating, although it seems like you are pretty close to the action. The only problem I have with Wayne's gym is their lobby is very small. If the crowd is big that can make halftime trips to the bathroom and concession stand difficult.

 

This is a high quality tournament, by the way. They do a great job with it.

Wayne's gym is going to get redone I am told and the lobby is going to be made much bigger.

Clinton TN isnt very close to Monticello. It's just NW of Knoxville but they come to Wayne Co. every year. I assume it some tie Wayne's coach has with someone there since he played at UT.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew they almost always played in the tournament, so I was just assuming they were just across the line.

I hear rumblings casey county should be doing well this season with new coach and new style?
