Final from Rupp Arena.

Mustangs will get the Knott County Central/Bowling Green winner on Friday.

Caleb Stonecipher named player of the game.

Scouting Report on McCracken....don't foul.

Sweet 16 record 34 free throws made.

34 made FT's by MC a new Sweet 16 record.

Congrats to MC !!! This screwed up my bracket but I love seeing an underdog win at the same time.

Listened to this one on wftm. Was really shocked that Wayne never lead. Was it just a great game by McCracken or a terrible game by Wayne? How did it look in person? Had Wayne in the championship game

Jared Burnett scores 21 for McCracken. Caleb Stonecipher had 20.

They may have been the underdog in this game, but got to tell you I didn't see where Wayne should have been such a big favorite over Mc watching the two teams play. Maybe Mc was a little better than thought, maybe Wayne not quite as good as thought, maybe a little of both.

Trey Blevins with 24 & Peyton Woods 17 for Wayne.

I listened to the game. Sounds like it was a little of both; good game by the Mustangs, off game for Wayne.

Of course foul trouble played a big part for Wayne...but that's part of the game as well.

Only two BGPers in the Sweet 16 contest picked this and they were in back to back post on the contest thread...so I figure AllStateBaseball just copied the one above his :lol2:

Some interesting stats:

Chumbler was 13-15 at the FT line.

Wayne Co. was outscored by 16 points from the FT line

Wayne Co. shot 6-26 from behind the 3-point line (23.1%)

Wayne had 3 starters foul out and the other 2 had 4 each.

When a great three point shooting team goes cold, anything can happen. That's why you always trust teams that get to the rim more.

Wow, not the outcome I expected. Congrats to MC.
