But the play isn't dead at the time of the foul. Player C could still be called for goaltending. So shouldn't he still be able to get credit for a blocked shot too?

I would be surprised if Pendleton brought the same crowd to Montgomery County that they did to Mason County the last two years. I hope they do, but it's a haul from Falmouth to Mt. Sterling.

What is the rule on a player smacking the backboard when it's obvious that he doesn't have a chance to block the shot? I've seen several players receive Technicals in past years for smacking the backboard late after a shot goes in. However, this year there have been at least six instances that a shot was missed, and the backboard was smacked, shaking the entire goal, and it was neither a Technical nor Goaltending. I was just curious as to if the rule has changed, refs had become more lenient, or it was all in my head. Thanks.

Man, that kid is athletic! He pinned what seemed to be a wide-open Monroe lay-up about halfway up the square on the backboard. He also hit two clutch free throws to seal the game.

Would have liked to see the Jacobs-Jennings matchup tonight.

Wow. I saw Lincoln County in the AIT and wasn't very impressed. Sounds like they're improving though.

I've said it all year- Woodford County is my dark horse team. I loved the way they played, even without Jay Johnson. I need to get out and see them now that he's back.

Mason Monroe has some weapons around him. They're simply not producing right now. Antrobus lost his shot in about mid-December, and still hasn't found it. Rering played well tonight though. Mason County is a totally different team with Tyler Black. He's good. Very good. Bryan Woods looked a little rusty in his first game back for Pendleton. Black didn't look a bit rusty.

Woah. Expected Scott County to win, but not by this much.
