  1. Lafayette is 12-16. Henry Clay had won 13 games in a row until last night, including beating Scott County and Madison Central by 15. They'll probably drop out of the top 10 now though.
  2. My predictions: Campbell County over Scott in the 37th. Pendleton County over Nicholas County in the 38th Mason County over Augusta in the 39th GRC over Montgomery County in the 40th I only see two first-round games that should be very close. Pendleton-Harrison and Campbell-Brossart should be very good ones.
  3. 1st Region: Marshall County 2nd Region: Hopkinsville 3rd Region: Ohio County 4th Region: Warren Central 5th Region: Bardstown 6th Region: Bullitt East 7th Region: Trinity 8th Region: Oldham County 9th Region: Dixie Heights 10th Region: George Rogers Clark 11th Region: Henry Clay 12th Region: Pulaski County 13th Region: Harlan County 14th Region: Perry County Central 14th Region: Betsy Lane 16th Region: Rowan County TB- 16th Region

  5. Sorry, I wasn't there. Just working with what was sent to me. Henry Clay is probably the hottest team in the state right now. Not a bad time to to hold this title.
  6. Final from Nicholas County. Henry Clay is a very good, very hot team, and Mason Monroe struggled. Good to see Jared Rering playing well, but an overall disappointing result for Pendleton County after a big win over Campbell County. Pendleton Jared Rering 16 pts, 9 reb Gabe Antrobus 5 pts Garrett Appleman 2 pts Aaron Gibson 4 pts Mason Monroe 8 pts Andrew Antrobus 6 pts, 4 reb Erik Singleton 11 pts Jackson Strong 3 pts Henry Clay Jordan Greene 21 pts, 7 reb Teddy Ware 15 pts Trey Grundy 12 pts, 11 reb Christen Cunningham 11 pts Darien Tichenor 6 pts, 6 reb Wes Kimball 4 pts Alex Blackburn 4 pts Jeremiah Tisdale 4 pts Creed Setzer 2 pts
  7. Sorry, didn't mean to leave Gibson off there. He is a joy to watch. He rarely scores, but plays tremendous defense and does all the little things that don't show up in the box score. Every team needs an Aaron Gibson.
  8. Let's not open this up again. It was an official scorer error. As strange as it was, they got it right in the end.
  9. 7- Tates Creek 5- Scott 3- Highlands 2- Newport 1- Holmes TB- Tates Creek
  10. Final was actually in overtime. Corey Holbrook hit a three with two seconds left for Campbell County to send it to OT. Nice to see Ethan Moore have a good game for Pendleton. He has struggled a bit lately.
  11. Final from Alexandria. Nice win for the Cats. Pendleton Scoring Ethan Moore 9 pts, 12 reb Jared Rering 7 pts, 9 reb Garrett Appleman 5 pts Gabe Antrobus 3 pts Mason Monroe 20 pts Bryan Woods 9 pts Campbell County Scoring Nate McGovney 23 pts, 5 reb Jared White 5 pts, 9 reb Corey Holbrook 15 pts Cameron Addie 2 pts Rob Franzen 4 pts Kris Miller 2 pts
  12. Just a last second shot. Last season they were 0-3 in the regular season in overtime, and 0-5 in games decided by 3 or less points. At least they've had better luck in these games this year than last year.
  13. Your skepticism makes me think you didn't get to watch him. He put up 35 points and 19 rebounds on Pendleton County. He put up something like 28 points and 15 rebounds in a win at Harrison County. Yes, dominated.
  14. They did have a talented team two years ago season. Star Kyle Campbell had some help that year. They had a transfer point guard from Fleming County, and 6'7 transfer big man from Louisville Charles Washington dominated the 10th Region for a year. They went 15-11, before losing to eventual District Champ Harrison County 57-51 in the first round. However, Kyle Campbell graduated, and Washington transferred back to Louisville the day after the season ended.
  15. Congratulations to Mr. Schlach. He was a role player in the King twin era but had put up big numbers this year without them. Good ball player.
  16. This team continues to confuse me. A lot of talent left, and I've learned better than to ever count out Coach Simms in the postseason. They have enough talent on the court and on the coaching staff to still make a run. No denying they've underachieved in the regular season though. A strong postseason run, and no one remembers that though.
  17. Not a good loss for Pendleton County. Grant County shot the ball well, and scored 17 in overtime to win it. Very tough shooting night for Mason Monroe.
  18. Nice win for Simon Kenton, especially with Barnes out. Nice to see Holbrook from Campbell County have a big game.
  19. 7- Scott County 5- Knox Central 3- Wayne County 2-Somerset 1- Pulaski County TB- Pulaski County
  20. 7- Dixie Heights 5- Bishop Brossart 3- Mason County 2- Bellevue 1- Walton Verona TB- Mason County
