Mason County 71 Pulaski County 65

Final from Montgomery County. Looks like Mason County is really starting to turn things around.

PC should have saved some of those points last night.

No doubt.

If they are the best in the 12th, not impressed. They never were in this game from the get -go against what is supposedly a middle of the pack in the 10th region team

One of the top 2 teams from the 12th. They have been up and down all year. They only beat Mercer County by 2 at home so no one from the 12th is surprised by this loss. We only hope they play like that when we see them.

Had heard all about Johnson and Goyer, but was most impressed with the inside-outside game of Goins today, if not for him this game would have really been lopsided

Got there just as the game was over. Congrats to MC on the win.

Funny thing is that when Goins plays good then they win. He's the wild card. Gover and Johnson must have used too much last night. Easily the best two players in the 12th. Must been rough nights for the both of them. Johnson had 51 last night.

Spoke with a few parents that made the trip. They said Gover and Johnson each had worst shooting games of the season. PC had to be worn out after that 223 total point output last night to go along with the early tip today. This should show them what tournament time will be like, very little rest. Hopefully, this team played the worst they will play and things will go up from here.

MASON COUNTY 71, PULASKI COUNTY 65: Tyler Black, who has rehabbed after a knee injury and played for the first time this season Friday night, had 21 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocked shots to lead Mason County past the Maroons. Steven Chambers and Shawn Johnson added 11 points each for the winners. Pulaski County, which scored 115 points in a Friday night victory over Wayne County, rallied with its three-point shooting in the fourth quarter but couldn’t catch Mason County. Tyler Goins had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Maroons. Taylor Gover had 18 and Kody Johnson, who poured in 51 points Friday night, had 17 points and 9 rebounds.

You left out that Mason County returned one of their best players yesterday who had a dominating game it appears. I guess that explains why Mason is a middle of the pack team that has been largely unimpressive to this date.

Pulaski is really struggling outside the 12 region if I am not mistaken they are 5 wins vs 7 losses .

Losing to quality teams though.

LexCath, Clinton County, Mason County, Scott County, Buckhorn...all quality teams. Their worst loss(teams not scores) is from a 12th region team in all actuality.

Also looked at East Jessamine is 10 - 4 and Southwesteren is 8-5 really gonna be a interesting finish to the season.
