Their game against Conner on Tuesday was the first game he dressed. He only has a week of practices under his belt. I can hear Jimmy Dykes now. "He's only practiced five times! The game has changed. He doesn't even know how to stretch yet!"

Will be interesting to see if Black plays for Mason County or Woods plays for Pendleton County. Either one would make a huge impact for their respective teams.

I was so bumfuzzled tonight watching this game. When Pendleton is at home, they look like one of the best teams in the Region. Tonight looked like they were barely a top 10 team in the Region. This team gives me headaches. I just can't figure out if they're really good or mediocre. Friday they travel to the Fieldhouse. Should be a good test.

I hate to hear this. She was a special player. I hope she makes a speedy and full recovery.

I have a copy. It's an outstanding documentary. I watch it about once a month. Really captures the small-town, mountain, Cinderella aspect of Kentucky basketball. They do a special section on Red Bird in the early 2000's. They scored over 100 points on a regular basis with the top 6 players all relatives, and all looking pretty similar. They were all about 6'1, and each had wispy mustaches.

Heritage Academy's leading scorer was a JV player for Pendleton County two years ago. I always wondered where he ended up. He was a huge kid all the way through elementary and middle school. Looks like he's still huge.
