Jay Johnson held to 4 points? Did Western Hills pick up Jared Sullinger for a game?

Im sure this wasnt that game that Hundley would have liked his guys to play going into the Toyota Classic, however, this could have been a game they overlooked with the big games coming up this week. A win is a win!

More important, how did he look. Can overlook only 4 points if he is moving well. Best wishes to him and the rest of the team. Stay healthy Jay.

Johnson returned last Friday against Franklin County and had 18 points in his first game back which was a victory over Franklin County.

I would like to know why or how he was held to 4 points. Foul trouble maybe?

The game was tied at halftime 35-35 and the Western Hills team should be given a lot of credit for their hustle as they outworked the Yellow Jackets to the tune of 42-26 on the boards. Johnson was in foul trouble early and it looked like once the game was in hand Coach Hundley just didn't put him back in the game in an effort to save his legs for the Toyota Classic. Starcher stepped up for WC with 4 of 6 threes and 18 points. A late run in the second half put this one away for WC as they turned 16 WH turnovers into 27 points. Not quite the effort that is going to win the Toyota Classic that starts tonight for Woodford vs. Western (Louisville).
