Henry Clay 69 Bryan Station 63

Was just sent this score by my KHSAA Scoreboard app.

It may be right it may be wrong but that is what it sent. Figured it'd be a good game.

I heard this game ended with a technical or something like that. Anyone from Lexington have details?

Any video?

Was 62-60 Henry Clay and they had just gotten fouled (and it might even have been tied when this happened - bad memory). As Henry Clay huddled the free throws a Bryan Station player who was nearby the huddle was given a technical. I didn't see exactly why, but he must have said something. Four free throws and the ball later the game was essentially over.

Haven't looked for any. I saw some post game tweets about it.

Interesting. So we'll never know what happened.

Looks like the three Clay sophomores had three great games. That's good to see.

I probably wasn't clear. Looked to me like Station kid interrupted / tried to get in middle of HC huddle before the free throw. Words and a little pushing led to the technical.

Interesting. Is that worthy of a technical?

Ken Catron gave the technical. There was a double technical late with Larry Morton and Jordan Green as well. So, the game had the potential to get out of hand, so in reality I think it was a good technical. Not sure both parties didn't deserve one on the really critical call, but I am sure Catron felt (saw) the Hipps kid from Bryan Station start it.

Gotcha. Thanks for the insight. I appreciate it.

I hope the the technical was warranted that late in the game. Hate for any game to end that way.
