Final from All "A" 9th Region.

Shocked.........Heritage scored 59 against the Cross. What were Campbell's numbers for HC?

Campbell had 4 points and 2 Rebounds in 3 minutes of action

Why not just sit them the entire game?

Why not just sit them the entire game?

Then how would he have been able to do this?

Why does Heritage play in the all "A", but not the 33rd tourney? This game should not of been played.

I thought so too until I saw how the Heritage boys hustled throughout the game. You would have thought it was a barn burner and for that I have to give Heritage a lot of respect. HC got a lot of minutes for players who have not seen all that much action so from that perspective it turned out ok. Congrats to both teams on making something out of nothing.

Our last starters were pulled with 4:55 left in the 1st Qtr...Score was HC 17-0

HC advances to the second of Wednesday's Quarterfinal matchups being played at Villa Madonna HS...7:30 vs Newport. The first matchup at Villa will be the Blue Lightning vs. St. Henry at 6pm.

I think it is refreshing to see a thread like this. Nice to see a team that we don't usually see on BGP. Hat's off to every bucket, rebound and steal that Heritage Christian had against Holy Cross. Those Heritage Christian boys love their baskeball just as much as any other high school kid.

I didn't know a lot about Heritage prior to looking for their box scores in old newspapers and online. They played hard and were obviously outmatched, but they only have one senior on their squad who averages around 6 points a game and didn't score tonight (in foul trouble for part of the game). The big boy on their team, Zac Smith, is listed at 6'7" 300 and is their leading scorer. He finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds.

A bit intimidating?
