Final. Heard Brent Bach led Augusta with 32 points. Not a bad showing for Augusta, and a very good showing for young Mr. Bach.

Bach impressive with 32. Panthers only had three players in the scoring column.

Panthers led 28-24 at half. Brossart got 36 of 66 points off the bench. Led 21 at one point late.

Augusta never gave up. Played hard.

BY far the best game the Panthers have played this year. Brossart was just too big and that showed in the Augusta fatigue in the 4th quarter and they shot the lights out in the 3rd quarter. That was the difference in the game. If they had played like this all year the'd have been undefeated going into this game. Hopefully they've hit their stride at the right time of year.

The Bach kid is a very nice player. Had no idea he was a Soph until after the game. He plays with the poise and confidence of a seasoned veteran. Hats off to the Mustangs for winning a hard fought battle. They had great contributions from 9 different players last night. When something didn't work out, they just went to another option. The depth of this team is going to make them a hard out in the A.
