This was a very good decision by Dixie....sometimes you have to send the nagging wife packing.

You keep referencing "great" but yet VOR has never used this word. Seems like you're trying to put words in somebody's mouth. He made a simple comment about his expectations for the season... a reasonable post that doesn't come close to touting "great" as you put it.

I think we're down to a 3 horse race between Dixie, Boone, and Ryle though I've heard SK has a shot if the fans start calling the plays from the stands. :ohbrother:

You don't just give up in that situation do you? At least let it play out and see what happens.

But don't you at least call the final two TO's to see how much time is left....you don't just concede the game because you think the other coach will come up with a genius play to run some extra clock.

How about the CCH 2 pt attempt after their last TD. Was it close? That would've been huge.

Big win for Dixie.....the clouds may be parting for the Colonels. Dixie's D played a very respectable game. One Boone touchdown coming on a Dixie special team tackling debacle, allowing a kickoff return. I thought the 38 yard Boone TD pass could've easily been prevented if the Dixie defender would've simply knocked the pass away instead of going for the interception against the taller receiver....hopefully a lesson learned. Cohorn came up with some clutch catches....really nice game for Goose. Big second half for Justice rushing....kid gets it done.
