Homecoming game for Dixie....I look for the Colonels to give Boone all they want in this one.

This will be a good test for both teams. Not only being a district game, but a test to see if Boone's defense can stop Dixie's offense. Dixie's defense stepped it up their last game. Can Dixie contain Boone's running game?

Dixie - two weeks to prepare, game at home, always improves during the year, first district game = close game that could go either way. I give the slight edge to Dixie at home.

Tough one for me to pick; I do believe that this should be close. Regardless, I believe the winner of this game wins the NKY 6A district.

Seems like Dixie struggles the first 3-4 weeks every year. I think they're ready to break out and show people they're the team to beat in NKY 6A. Beating Boone would certainly send a message to the rest of 6A.

I know Dixie has been hit with some injuries early. They have had a couple weeks to get healthy. Will they have all of their players that have missed time back for Friday night?

I still like Boone in this game, even if Dixie is 100%, based upon the week in week out performance of its defense & the flashes that the offense has shown. I understand that Dixie has played tougher competition, but Boone played the one common opponent (Cov Cath) much tougher than Dixie.

I think this will be a close game won by Boone unless Dixie is +2 in the turnover column. Boone 28-14.

I believe Bruns is out for the season and that is a huge loss for Dixie. Boone's defense has been very good and Dixie's defense has struggled. The only way Dixie wins this is Zeke Pike doing it all on offense and putting the points on the board.
