Is Hemmerich one of the least touted players in the region? Everytime I look at a Conner score, the kid is dropping 20-30 points.

Brandon's a big time competitor on the court and a really good dude off the court. Always very polite and grounded when I've been around him.

A few random thoughts... This was a winnable game for Dixie. I recall them taking the lead late in the 3rd qtr and being down 1 at the end of the third. The Dixie "sophs" looked somewhat timid in the first half offensively. Daria hit some big shots (he needs to shoot more) Milligan brought toughness and a spark to the floor. I know he had some foul issues but would love to see him out there banging more. Way too many open perimeter shots for CovCath...thankfully they missed most of them. Ruthsatz was allowed to do pretty much whatever he wanted....there was no focus on shutting him down. Fun game to watch...I hope the shooting percentages are reversed if they meet in the postseason.

I always thought Seibert was the defensive specialist for NCC. 26 points against Holmes...big night for the kid.

This will be a HUGE win for Dixie if they can pull off the upset.

Not surprised Cooper won, but by 16 in Park Hills is a little shocking.

Not uncommon... Dixie has played a number of evening games (over the years) when school has been cancelled. But when the county gives the blanket "no activities" like Sat, the schools don't have a choice. I think we're on the same page.

Two years in a row this game has been cancelled. Last year it was Holy Cross and this year Dixie. Hope they make this one up.

Foul 1 - Great acting job by Milligan...official appeared to be blocked from view, saw the arms go up by the Holmes player and Milligan go down. Foul 2 - This was a foul in my book. Holmes player lowered the shoulder slightly and threw the forearm (Milligan made sure they saw it)

I find it unlikely that Booher and Co. overlook this game after Dixie's lopsided win last year. A tough final stretch for the Colonels with games against Holmes, Holy Cross, CovCath, and Cooper still in front of them. It's time for the youngsters to saddle up and play their best ball of the year.

I think Dixie's issues are bigger than having Moo Young on the team.

Dixie and SK have never been BIG rivals anytime recently. Same county schools is about it. It's not like the Boone schools that are in the same district and region. Not a good showing by Dixie but far from a catastrophic loss.

If I were Holy Cross I would've taken the selfish route and played on my home court considering the drought they've been in getting to the Regional Tourney.

Did Stanley play for Boone? Didn't see him in the box score.
