DISCLAIMER: THIS DID NOT CAUSE DIXIE TO LOSE .... I just watched the replay of the 5 second call on Dixie late in the game and it was just plain awful. Daria calls a TO 3 seconds after the ball was thrown to him and they call a 5 sec violation. Every game will have some iffy calls but counting to 5 shouldn't be too tough.

Solid game out of the Colonels. I thought Daria and Rabe played really well. Dixie needs to work on their weakside help in the post if they're going to front the big. Definitely playing better ball than how they started the season.

Winton Woods has won 1 game this season and that was against a homeschool team. They lost to St X (Oh) by 13 (a team that Dixie defeated by 15) Until they get they get full strength, they will continue to struggle.

CovCath by as many as they want.....Winton Woods is awful this year.

55 points is an unreal amount to give up in a half. Was NewCath in foul trouble?

With the exception of the opening night debacle against NewCath, Dixie has played pretty well thus far. Really didn't expect them to be leading Holmes after 3 quarters. Holding Chames to 1 point was huge...betting we don't see that again this season.

St X (Cincy) led for 3 quarters tonight in the battle of the X's with St X( Lou) winning in OT. Looks like we have 2 evenly matched St X teams playing tomorrow night against Dixie and CovCath. Dixie's bigs will have their work cut out for them against #22 Mills for St X (Oh).

Bingo - When Ruthsatz doesn't get his 15-20 shots in, CCH typically struggles.

Both St X's are 2-0 and play each other tonight. I guess we'll find out which X is better later this evening.

December games are for chatter....end of Feb and March are when the chips are on the line. If Hatton's not ready to roll, December will be a good opportunity for some of the other Dixie players to step up.

May have been the biggest play of the game. Heck of a pass...huge gain and backbreaker for Dixie. A stop there and the Colonels would've had a chance for a winning TD drive.

I hope Daria is somewhere in Dixie's lineup. Kid gives them a legit scorer who can knock down 3's.

Congrats to Brandon...does seem like he's been playing at DH forever. I believe it's just about an hour drive over to Montreal from UVM. Pack some warm clothes (when the time comes) and enjoy your college experience :thumb:

Just read the article about Kuntz having the 5th best completion percentage in state history and only 1 interception all year (mind boggling)...kid is a true stud. Dixie's D did a nice job containing him in the 1st match up earlier this season and will need a similar effort Friday. The key for Dixie will be getting the offense rolling. IF they get the rushing game going, I really like their chances.

Twitter and teenagers are a bad mix.

I'll give SK more credit than most on here because I think their PLAYERS and COACHES (hint,hint) deserve it. I'm not sure what else you can do besides go out and win every game on your schedule. I think most nky teams would be thrilled to be 10-0. While CovCath just came off a very impressive win over Conner they also have 3 very questionable performances on their resume . I have zero problem with SK ranked #2. The playoffs should provide some additional clarity....

I'm not a big fan of packing in because it's the last regular season game (with nothing on the line). I hope both teams go at it full strength and build on this game going into the post season.

Depending on the week, you could put 3-6 in a hat and pull your rankings.

^^^^^^4th down play^^^^ I didn't see a bobble. Looked like a good catch until the big hit...thought the receiver needed possession another split second to get the call. A potentially bigger play in that series (2nd or 3rd down) was when Dixie had a receiver wide open down the middle of the field and the pass had too much air under it and sailed over the receiver's head. A little zip on that ball and the receiver may still be running.
