Will you be in attendence with camera in hand? The Breds top 7 players are basketball only, but Mac Franzen on the bench and ready would be nice.

Yes, I plan to see this one. The hill is not the most camera friendly place to shoot but I never let that stop me.

Early but you must admit it is a huge 1st game for both and yes, I am pumped about what looks to be an amazing season for us sideline junkies.

I saw two crazy shooting performances last year and both were against NCC.

 

In this game last year Hatton put on a 2nd half shooting show that was one of those "no way he can make...oh heck he did it again" nights. (Other was Bolden against NCC in the regular season)

You're really beating this Dixie is 3rd in the region drum loudly. Hope they don't let you down. I think Dixie will be in the 4/5 range, but time will tell.

 

NewCath has way too much size for Dixie. Hatton will get his if he is so inclined, but won't be near enough.

Side-note, and you can scan last season's Dixie threads to validate, I'm as big a Schreck fan as there is in NKY. Love his potential.

Way too much size? McDonald and Schulte will be tough for every team to match up with, no doubt, but I don't see Rabe, Schreck, and Hatton/Isbel having any problem matching up with Pangallo, T. Moeves, and G Moeves/Weyer. (Size wise)

 

Dixie actually has a pretty big team with 6'1 Schreck, 6'2 Hatton, 6'3 Niehaus, 6'3 Isbel, 6'5 Hedger, and 6'7 Bolin.

 

I think Newcath is the favorite in this game as they have the best starting 5 in the region but you are seriously underestimating Dixie. They return virtually everyone from last year's team. Replacing the combined 10 ppg and 6 rpg from Milligan and Ruehr isn't as tough as it's going to be for other teams to replace the seniors they lost from last year.
