It really did come down to line play in my opinion. Dixie's d line wasn't in the backfield on every down like the first game. I also think that was in large part due to the return of Powell which I felt would also play a big part. Not sure what Powell's numbers were but he had a good night for SK.

 

Penalty's in the first half really hurt SK, much cleaner second half until late in the 4th quarter.

 

Dixie had some pretty good sustained drives but no huge offensive plays that stood out with the exception of their second TD. SK totally blew the coverage on a reverse that ended up being a pass play and the Dixie wr was back pedaling just trying to get to the endzone without falling down. No one from SK within 15 yards of him.

 

Overall a great game and good effort by both teams. Excellent crowd considering the first half weather was about as bad as it gets. Would've preferred snow than the rain that resulted in cold wet feet all night.
