Not saying SK didn't deserve some of the penalties but even the Dixie fans I was standing around talking with commented that SK certainly wasn't getting any home field calls from the zebras tonight. That first half was really hard on SK in terms of penalties but they seemingly did a good job of cleaning it up in the second. At least enough so that it wasn't impacting their momentum.

I feel like Powell's running ability is what forced Dixie to stay at home rather than charging 3 yards upfield causing the pocket to collapse on Kuntz like they did in the last game. SK's line definitely did a better job in protection tonight but Powell played a helping hand in that too IMO.

Bryson and Heflin did a fine job of holding down the fort but Powell gives them another dimesion on offense.
