I've heard good things about him but never got a chance to see him play much. Is he half as mobile as Kuntz? SK has had good success with mobile quarterbacks.

Lawrence and Kuntz are 1A and 1B, the next coming has a ways to go to be in the same conversation. When I say a ways to go I need two seasons of solid play. I hope for the program Racke is in the conversation but he has huge shoes to fill.

He went out early. Didn't look serious but was enough to keep him out. He was walking on it but couldn't cut.

I hate to say it but you are wrong again. McCracken got beat last night.

The Kuntz pass to Wassom on 3rd and 7 late in the game was a beauty. I believe Powell had 110 yards on 15 carries.

 

May have been the biggest play of the game. Heck of a pass...huge gain and backbreaker for Dixie.

A stop there and the Colonels would've had a chance for a winning TD drive.

Congrats to the Pioneers on the win. They won the turnover battle, forced Dixie to pass, and controlled the offensive and defensive lines for the majority of the game ( which they didn't do game 1 ). Kuntz threw better in the rain than went it wasn't and exercised very good judgement. This kid creates space, bides his time, and has great vision to locate receivers who do a good job finding space to catch and move the football down the field.

 

The threat of Powell and SKs use of the sprint draw was a game changer. Best wishes in Louisville next week against Butler.

 

The Colonels exceeded many expectations this year and brought a program back from two consecutive 3 win seasons. An 8-4 season is outstanding folks all things considered. The Dixie community is proud of your accomplishments and growth. Best wishes to the Seniors who have left a good foundation to build future success on. Go Colonels! :thumb:
