CCH played without Fredrick and Heppler.

CovCath 69 Boone County 54 before an otherwise empty gym tonight at Boone County, except for the players parents and the Colonels prevailed!

 

It wasn't pretty but it was a win.

Game was tied at half at 34. Boone fought hard but just did not rebound well the second half.

With the victory CovCath improves to 18-3 and next play Withrow at Withrow on Friday 1-25-13 with the tip-off coming at 7:30pm

 

CovCath JV won by a score of 42-35 and improve to 13-4, while the CovCath Frosh lost 43-35 and now own a 16-7 record.

 

The JV and Freshmen next game is Saturday 1-26-13 in a triple header at CovCath vs. Ryle with the Frosh tip-off coming at 4:30pm

BTW Nick Ruthsatz needs 23 points to join the 1000 point club at CovCath. The last member to join that group was 2009 grad Luke Maile.

I am told it has been that way for a while at Boone County. More people attend the girls games than the boys games there. Boone fans please correct me if I am wrong.

CovCath has a large student body group and I do mean a large student body group going to Washington DC to march in the right to life parade on Friday! I believe they leave sometime tomorrow morning! So on their part at least, I can see where with the cost of the trip and with all that is going on, I can see it not being that important!
