I saw some of Pandas pics on FB and noticed Soph Lane Herrett playing in the JV game for CovCath. Was this his first game being eligible since transferring from Highlands in December 2011?

Yes it was!

No cheerleaders, No band, No energy in the building. Boone did have about 11 or 12 students though at the game, however, it may have been the JV players sticking around after their game waiting on their ride.....

I just heard today that he was out sick. Difference-maker for Boone.

BTW Nick Ruthsatz needs 23 points to join the 1000 point club at CovCath. The last member to join that group was 2009 grad Luke Maile.

Any idea where Nick averages in with points per game or number of games played compared to the others on the board? Also, pretty clearly Listerman and Purdon played varsity all 4 years...

Found it on KHSAA...looks like he averaged 18.5 points per game last year with 31 games, and has played 21 games thus far this season and is currently averaging 19.1 points per game.

 

So....at least 8 games left this season (including tonight), and assume 31 games for next season. Multiply that by 18.8 points per game, call it 733 more points, projected career. That puts him at 1,710 career points, and in second place all time on the Cov Cath 1000 point club. And that's all assuming he only plays 91 games total - sophomore, junior and senior years.

By the way...with an average of 18.5 ppg last year, and 19.1 thus far this season, that puts Roger Tieman as the only person on that list with a higher points per game average than Ruthsatz. And Thelen is the next behind him at 16.6...that's pretty phenomenal!
