What happened to NKU?

Not sure..I guess better financial agreement?

 

I know Holmes is giving HC the gym to use, their own people will handle the gate and how it is ran, as well as their PA people announcing the games.

 

The way I understand it, HC will get larger % of gate but Holmes gets to keep the concession revenue.

I would think the Colonels would be ecstatic with this. They get to play Holy Cross in the 2-3 game at Holmes instead of at Holy Cross.

You are correct that Beechwood was the most upset. Also, I think HC gets the cocessions, unless that has changed since last weekend.

Are you kidding me? Let's be honest, Beechwood wouldn't have a chance even if Holmes played their second string and the game was held outside at Latonia Elementary.

And what would their prize be if they beat a team they should beat? Holmes at Holmes ? Who does the smaller court help most? ( vs. if it would have been played on a collegiate floor).

Knew about this when Holmes played CovCath at CovCath from SS. NKU wanted to double the rent from last year. I guess when you move to Division I, you can charge more or you need more money to operate your athletic program especially when there haven't been many fannies in the seats at BOKC to watch the Norse play!

Bad play by NKU. At this point they need to get locals into the campus to see how beautiful it has become. Maybe than they could suck a few bucks out of them. Other than for parking.

That's a shame. The games at Regents Hall last year were great.

If you are saying that CovCath would rather play at NKU than Holy Cross or Holmes, I agree. CCH's most important game is the first game of districts and playing at Holmes gives them an advantage over playing at Holy Cross.
