Heck, back in the day the ref's used to call both teams to the middle of the field before the game and give everyone a yellow card! Games were not quite as rough after this.

i would see it the exact opposite - -No way Highlands wants to lose this game. For Cov Cath, yea they want to win, but also know they have a much better chance at winning in other sports than Highlands does. Football is it when it comes to boys sports at Highlands.

So wonder if Coach McCoy (Cov Cath) is questioning his decision now. After 18 straigth regional championships - they finished 3rd this weekend. I honestly do not know that they would have been able to win the 19th if Coach did not institute his rule, but, it is sad to see the streak end.
