I personally think Mr Hardin is underestimating the Conner Lady Cougars this upcoming season. I think they will be one of the 2 or 3 best teams in the 9th Region this upcoming season and not including Jordan Scott of Conner on his list of Top 10 players is a huge oversight.If she plays up to her ability I expect her to have a great Senior season.

No disrespect, but I don't know how Holmes can have two players in the top 9. If so, I would think the team would be rated higher. I think the top 5 teams look about. Coach Stamm is going to have to beat some of the best before I think his team should be rated higher.

Same writer who in last year's Cats Pause Preview listed an already graduated player in the Boys Top 10. I know an oversight happens or a goof but come on man. Its your craft, get it right.

Any information on what colleges are looking at Dawn? I agree she should have a big year, she will need some of the players around her to step up because I am guessing she will see some defenses focusing on stopping her! What other players will Ryle be counting on this year? The loss of the big girl will hurt!

I find it interesting that NDA is ranked #1 with only 1 player in the top 10. Granted, it's the #1 player in the region, but several other teams (i.e. Holmes, Highlands & Ryle) have 2 players in the top 2.

I would say for HHS, they have the potential to be very good. They have 6 seniors returning and one of them is committed to Xaiver. However, there are some question marks. Will the senior PG (Abner) return after injury last year and re-injured in soccer? Their depth is young...very good, but young. Only have 1 junior on the team.

 

If they can put it together, it should be a great year for them. They always play a very tough schedule, so they should be tested by the time it matters. The question will be rather that test helps gain their confidence or helps lose it.
