I will agree that they did not underachieve last year given their lack of varsity experience, but steps were not taken the previous year to gain the experience. IMO you have to build the program. If that means that an underperforming upper classman sits, then reality check for that player. I know. trust me there are parents and other factors that go into coaches decisions on this stance, but the coaches have to be able to do what is best for the current year and the future. I hope these changes will be positive for the Conner program. If Bowman is coming from Ryle, that will be great. Good guy and good coach.
