You have an incredibly valid opinion on who should win miss basketball yet you haven't seen Seygan Robins play? I don't understand. If you had followed girls basketball at ALL over the past 3 to 4 years you would have seen Seygan Robins play at least once. It's not like Mercer County is hiding out and playing only local teams...they have been in every major event in this state. She just won the MOP award at the sweet 16....If you haven't seen her play then no, you don't have a valid opinion on who should win miss basketball.

if you have never seen robins play then you probably don't have a valid opinion.

After the sweet 16, Robins is the early front runner for sure.

Wait Simon lost??? It must be AAU's fault! (maybe they won't notice that all of Mercer Co girls play aau...not to mention Franklin Co....and probably almost all of the girls on the best teams in the state)

If they are going to cut the regular season a week shorter, they really need to let the schools know ASAP since teams are in the process of scheduling games.

It seems to me that moving the boys tournament to "avoid NCAA conflict" only creates a different one...the mens SEC basketball tournament.

Pretty sure that is an old incident....the date on the article says "Jan 2016". Either way, the job is open.

Not taking anything away from Holmes, but Henderson is NOT a really good team without their best player.

The officiating yesterday was horrible. Arguably decided the outcome of a couple of games. I don't understand how you can call a foul on that last play in the SK/Franklin game...and the Mercer/GRC game totally changed on a couple of calls. Regardless, very exciting basketball games. Hopefully more of the same in the semis

combining the two tournaments...makes sense to use Lexington. Memorial for the girls and Rupp for the boys.

Holmes had a pretty small contingent last year if I remember correctly. I do expect SK to bring a bunch.

Sexton out with ACL injury....was hurt at the end of the season. This is still probably an upset but not a major one without her.

The 7th region is loaded with good players....as always. Not all of these "all region" lists are equal.

Probably and upset just because of the earlier meeting....but don't let South's record fool you. They have played an incredibly soft schedule.

Walton really played well to end the year. If you made a list of the top 4 or 5 teams in the 8th RIGHT NOW they would probably be on it. Took them a while to find their groove and fell to #4 in district bc of it.

For the record, officials are rated only by coaches in their respective regions. Yes, that's one reason why it can be so hard to get a fair shake on the road out of region.

Coleman is good. But her team is not...and she didn't play against the best...either in high school or the summer. Going to be hard to get votes from outside her regional area.
