I was thinking it was between her and Jaelynn Penn but I wasn't sure who would get it. Congratulations to Lindsay and I look forward to following her at UL!!!!

Well JJ, I knew him as Tommy, good field no hit type of player. Little short guy and am shocked that his gene pool produced this good an athlete. Her mommy must be a star.

 

In clarification, I had no idea she was his daughter until I took my dad to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and he told me. I left Okolona in 1972 and have only been back to visit and both my mom and my dad live in the Louisville area.

 

So it has been a long time since I saw him. He was a few years younger (not much) and he more played with my younger brother's teams than mine. He may or may not have been on my team, but I played against him if he wasn't. I am happy for the family , though. I am sure she is a great kid.

 

I would imagine Tommy looks different than he was at 15 or 16 when I saw him last.

Lindsey is a great player. Congratulations.

Do they publish who got how many votes? Duvall is certainly a deserving player. Man, can she shoot the rock! Happy for her, teammates, school and community. Have to wonder though had Penn committed to UK or UL what the voting would have looked like? Also hear the Harlan kid was in the running. Congrats again to Duvall and the BE community!
